From the beginning I was swept away, and into this beautiful story! I can’t say enough good things about this book. You’ll fall in love with Anna and Tristan. They will stay with you long after you close the pages of the book.

Anna has returned to her home after the death of her father to try to establish a sense of community for herself that she had been missing, only to discover that things aren’t what she expected and her home may not really belong to her.  Anna has a strong faith in God and a vibrant prayer life.

Tristan has a deep love for farming and has lost himself in the work. He left his home in Ohio and carried with him a broken spirit over the death of his mother, in what he felt like should have been her healing. He’s lost his faith and is too hurt and stubborn to try to find it or let it back in.

Can two broken hearts find a sense of home, community, and faith when they work together to lift the other up or will their differences be too much and drive a wedge between them?
