Exciting Start of a Brand-New Series by a Contemporary Romance Fan Favorite
After a devastating heartbreak three years ago, genealogist and historical village owner Nora Bradford has decided that burying her nose in her work and her books is far safer than romance in the here and now.
Unlike Nora, former Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient John Lawson is a modern-day man, usually 100 percent focused on the present. But when he’s diagnosed with an inherited condition, he’s forced to dig into the secrets of his past and his adoption as an infant, enlisting Nora to help him uncover the identity of his birth mother.
The more time they spend together, the more this pair of opposites suspects they just might be a perfect match. However, John’s already dating someone and Nora’s not sure she’s ready to trade her crushes on fictional heroes for the risks of a real relationship. Finding the answers they’re seeking will test the limits of their identity, their faith, and their devotion to one another.
From the very first page to the very last I found myself drawn into the story and enveloped in the story of Nora & John. A perfect blend of light-hearted fun, and deep thoughtful pros, this fantastic book has something for everyone.
The true to life struggles of the characters brought them closer to God, and I appreciated how you could see God’s hand working in their lives. The text at the end of the book was a fantastic choice “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
True To You was such a delightful read, I didn’t want it to end. I am eagerly anticipating reading the next book in this series.
(I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.)
“If a woman had a chance to be a princess at a ball, she should opt for the package that included a prince.”
