  2. October was a super busy month for me. I read and reviewed nine books: These Healing Hills, The Pretender, Hometown Girl, An Inconvenient Beauty, The Dishonorable Miss DeLancey, Embracing Hope, The Esther Paradigm, Rescued Hearts, and the KJV Know the Word Study Bible. WHEW! It’s really hard to pick a favorite. Most of those books were books I was anticipating, and they did not fail to impress. The one book I was the most surprised by would have to be Rescued Hearts. The premise intrigued me, of course, but I was not prepared for how engaged I would be! I devoured that book. I had bittersweet feelings with An Inconvenient Beauty and The Dishonorable Miss DeLancey. Both are the last books in amazing series. It’s always hard for me to read the last book in series. I get so caught up in the characters, they become so real to me! But both books are phenomenal (of course!). I also really enjoyed Embracing Hope.

What am I looking forward to in November? I am part of a few new book launch teams. I am going to review Vanishing Point by Lisa Harris. I am very excited about that book! And, I just became a member of Susan Dietze’s team for A Mother For His Family. I am thrilled to be a part of that group!!! I am going to review (finally!) A Season to Dance by Patricia Beal, An Imperfect Justice by Cara Putman, All Things Now Living by Rondi Olson, The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck by Bethany Turner, and The Gift of the Inn by Golden Parsons.

Typing all of this up has made me feel a little overwhelmed, but it’s a good overwhelmed. Books make me happy!

    Great post, as usual, Trisha!
