Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord,
“He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him will I trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.

He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Psalms 91:1-4

It is such a comfort to know that God protects us. We can rest safely with him. We don’t need to worry. He will take care of us. I could easily write out the entire chapter of Psalms 91 as it is one of my favorites. But instead, I’ll encourage you to pick up your Bible and read the chapter for yourself.

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. Good morning, Trish! Love your scripture.
    One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 43:2. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they will not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle up on thee.

  2. This morning it’s this verse on my mind: . Romans 15:13: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may ABOUND IN HOPE, through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
