GDPR* is the new and improved data protection directive that the EU will enforce beginning May 25, 2018.

In accordance with GDPR, I need to let all of my EU followers/visitors know what I do with their collected data. And, this is good to know for all my other followers and visitors as well.

As a reader of my blog, you can subscribe and find out what I am up to from day to day. You get an email letting you know when I post. WordPress is my blogging platform and does this for me, but you leave your email addresses here on my blog. I also host giveaways from time to time, and when you comment for that or just in general, you have to leave your email address.

So what do I do with that data? I let you know if you win a giveaway and when I post. That’s it. I only use this info for the purpose you intended and I never sell or give your info to a third party. No selling of info anywhere, anytime, for any purpose.

If you subscribe to my blog and no longer wish to, please click on the unsubscribe button on the right sidebar. Or hit the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email you got when I posted this.

Feel free to check out my my disclosure & policies page for much more detailed info.

*If you click on the GDPR link, it will take you to a helpful article called “General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements, deadlines, and facts” by Michael Nadeau.

    1. I’m not sure, but I thought it would be a good idea to ensure that I’m in compliance. As an added bonus, it is good for people to know that I’m not sharing their information.
