Synopsis:
“There comes a point in every woman’s life where she must decide what to believe: the truth of the past or the circumstances of the present.”
Belle Peterson is hiding a secret. Seeking sanctuary in the small town of Maple Run, she’s intent on starting her life over—one she hopes honors Christ. The plan was going great until an undeniable attraction to Micah has her wondering if she’s changed at all.
Micah Campbell can’t understand why Belle is so uptight and wants nothing to do with her until the gentle whispers of God tell him to befriend her. He didn’t count on the feeling of protectiveness to rise up or that spark of attraction.
When Belle’s past is revealed, Micah prays that his love can endure it.
My Thoughts:
I’ve had the pleasure of reading a few of Toni Shiloh’s books, and I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every single one I’ve picked up. Each story is unique yet holds the same poignant writing style that is fresh, and honest. With dynamic characters who have real lives and deal with difficult hurdles. The best part for me is that every story is rich with Bible truth.
Enduring Love takes a difficult topic and places it at the foot of the cross. Seen through the lens of forgiveness and Jesus’s blood that paid for all of our sins. No one is without sin and our job isn’t to condemn but to love one another and point others to Jesus.
This story isn’t all serious. There are plenty of light-hearted moments. Laughter and joy! Reading this story I felt like I was hanging out with a group of my friends. I have a marvelous time, and I enjoyed the real, honest and meaningful conversations.
I loved reading this story! There isn’t one thing I would change. I was drawn into the lives of these characters, I walked with them through the struggles, I felt like I was part of their lives, and by the end of the story, I wished I could really enjoy a delicious meal at The Pit.
I highly recommend this wonderful book! If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of reading one of Toni Shiloh’s books, then you are truly missing out and need to get one right away!
