Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,
all who’s thoughts are fixed on you!

Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal rock.

Isaiah 26:3-4

Today, I’m claiming this promise and keeping my thoughts fixed on Jesus!

Tomorrow morning I will be meeting with the surgeon for the surgery consult and to schedule the date for the surgery. I’m praying that he can schedule the surgery soon, and that I don’t have to way too long to get this over with.

Once they take the tumor out, they will send it to pathology for testing. I’m praying that the benign results from the biopsy are the same results this time!

There are moments when fear sneaks in. But I keep praying and giving it to God. I know that He’s got this!

We all have difficult roads to walk. No one is without hardship or pain. That is the results of this sinful world we live in. But there is good news my friend! God has promised that we won’t walk the road alone. He promises to be with us every step of the way!

What ever hardship you may be walking, know that God is with you and you are not alone. Keep praying, keep spending time with Him. Draw close to God and He will draw close to you.

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. I will pray for wisdom for the doctors and good results.

A verse that spoke to me this week is Philippians 1:27. “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.”

  3. Thinking on this verse today from Isaiah 32:17 KJV “And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.” God working in me, gives me His righteousness, molds & changes me to become like Him, and it brings peace, quietness, and assurance.
