Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

And be kind to one another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
even as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

God is so very loving and kind. We don’t do anything to deserve his love. He gives it freely, over and over and over again.

It is such a beautiful example of how we should love one another.

For anyone who has regularly followed these Thursday posts you know that it has been a difficult summer so far. I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to each of you for your kindness and your love that you have shared. You have been an encouragement. Thank you for letting your light shine!

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. *hug* Thank you for starting His Encouragement with Nicole and allowing me to join. It has been a true blessing in my life during a very difficult time as well. It is amazing how the Lord brings us into fellowship with those who will bring us support and encouragement when we are in great need of it. He knows best!

Ephesians 4:32 is a beautiful verse for today.

  2. I love to think about the word “tenderhearted” in your verse.
Today I read Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

  3. I absolutely love this verse. And, I love that you point out that we don’t do anything to deserve His love. That is so true, and I am SO glad He gives it freely.
I’m so sorry it has been a rough summer. I’ve been praying hard for you and your family. So grateful for your friendship, Trisha!
