Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

Hebrews6.19

Our Hope is in Jesus! He has gone before us. Jesus paid the price for our sin with His life. Hebrews goes on to say in vs 20 “where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

If you remember, in the Old Testament the High Priest was the only one who could go onto the Most Holy place in the Sanctuary to atone for the sins of the people by sprinkling blood. Once Jesus died, and rose again Jesus became our High Priest.

Jesus is our hope and our anchor. He is both sure and steadfast. We can put our trust in Him!  Jesus never fails!

What ever giants you are facing, what ever storm is raging, give it all to God! We can put our trust in Him.

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoy the “His Encouragement,” Thursday segment. Are you accepting any other bloggers to be a part of it? I would like to share some Bible based encouragement as well 🙂 I think it’s a great weekly blog post.
