Welcome to First Line Friday’s hosted by Hoarding Books.

Today I’m excited to be featuring My Heart Belongs in the Blue Ridge: Laurel’s Dream by Pepper Basham. Pepper Basham eloquently captured the very essence of the Blue Ridge Mountains and warmly welcomed me home within the pages of this fantastic book. I loved this story and I seriously didn’t want it to end. CLICK HERE to see my full review!

  1. “My Heart Belongs In…” books always remind me of the “Love Finds You In…” series that I enjoy.

I’m sharing the first line from Hope for Christmas by Elizabeth Maddrey on my blog today and I’m currently on chapter 7 so I’ll share the first line from that chapter here. “Cyan chuckled as Calvin made kissing noises to try and attract the attention of one of the horses.”

  2. I’m a little late going around this weekend but I’ve had a couple busy days leading up to my extended family Christmas with my in-laws today. The book I shared on my blog this week is Between Two Shores by Jocelyn Green releasing in Feb 2019 but I haven’t been able to start my next read yet so I don’t have an extra line to share. I hope you have a great weekend and are able to get some quality reading time in!
