Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for his sheep.”

John 10: 10 & 11

Jesus gives life. The thief brings death.

Jesus longs for us to know Him, for us to have such a close relationship with Him that we won’t be confused by other voices.

Take time every day to get to know Jesus and be sure to have some quiet time to listen for His voice.

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. This is such a great verse to share! Along with taking every thought captive, we need to recognize where our thoughts are actually coming from. Knowing how Satan operates better equips us to recognize his lies so that we can fill our thoughts with God’s truths instead.Life is no fun when you’re weighed down by the lies of Satan!
