Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Psalms 95:1

There is something rejuvenating about lifting my voice in praises to God.  When I’ve had a hard day. When the mountains of challenges loom ahead of me. I have found when I stop what I’m doing and turn my thoughts to God and sing His praises, the worries and cares of the world fade away.

My encouragement for you today, is to take time to pray and praise God. Even if you feel like you are too busy, just make the time. I promise it will be time well spent and that you will feel better!

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. I came across this verse this week and was blessed by it. “But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with your favor as with a shield.” Psalm 5:11-12

  2. I want to be the woman God made me to be. I know praying is a huge part of that. Talking to others has always been a struggle for me, which means praying has been hard too. I love already-made prayers cause it gives me words, but that’s not really praying. I just wish I was better at this. I will always be a work in progress!
