Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2

Friends, it is so easy to find ourselves so wrapped up in what is going on in the world, that we forget what we are supposed to be doing. We are constantly bombarded by media and busyness.

Take time today, to schedule for yourself daily time to spend with God. Time reading your Bible, singing praises and praying! I promise that it will be time well spent and that you will find your peace returned.

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

  1. Saturdays are my BIG spend-quality-time-with-Jesus days, but I must start every day in God’s Word. My habit is to set my alarm 15 minutes before I have to get up and spend that time in prayer and study. I actually listen to my Bible studies now in the AM so that I can stay in God’s Word as I’m brushing my teeth, getting dressed, making my lunch, etc. If I miss a morning with Jesus I feel it throughout my day. I’m a little less kind and patient and understanding. 🙂

  2. Thank you for thia important reminder. Some seasons of life are harder than others, but spensing time with God is important. During my hardest days, I would read the Bible and pray on my lunch break because that was the only time I had. But, praise the Lord, those seasons don’t last forever.
