Welcome to His Encouragement. I have joined with some blogging friends to bring you a new Bible verse every Thursday, and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;
that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be
able to comprehend with all the saints what is the
width and length and depth and height — to know
the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you
may be filled with the fulness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17-19

If Christ dwells in your heart are you interacting with your neighbor as if Christ is dwelling in your heart? Are you so full of the love of Christ that the love spills out and overflows to everyone who comes in contact with you?

My prayer today is that others will see Christ in me. That I will be so rooted in Christ that His love spills out to everyone I meet.

Now it is your turn!

What Bible verse is blessing you today?

One thought on “His Encouragement: Where are your roots?

  1. So, I love this reminder. It feels like the world is getting dumber and dumber, and I struggle so hard with dumb. I find myself purposely hiding from others because I don’t want to get mad at people. But this isn’t a good tactic cause I’m not being a light to the world. I’m just hiding. Thank you for this reminder!
