His Encouragement: Biblical Inspiration for your Thursday

Good Morning, Friends! Here we are at anther Thursday, and another opportunity to share with you an encouraging verse from the Bible. I welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

I pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

Have you not known? Have you not heart? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall,

but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
— Isaiah 40: 28-31

When I am feeling tired, I need only remember that God is never tired. He never grows weary. He can carry my burdens, I only need to give them to Him.

Today, instead of trying to take care of everything yourself; Why not give it ALL to God?

His Encouragement: Biblical Inspiration for your Thursday

Good Morning, Friends! Welcome to the second installment of His Encouragement.Every Thursday, Nicole of Christian Fiction Girl and I will each bring you a new Bible verse and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

We pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

“I have swept away your sins like a cloud.
I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.
Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”
– Isaiah 44:22

Sin can overshadow our lives if we let it. Trusting in God to forgive us and lead us when we repent is out only assurance of eternal happiness. He is always ready to sweep our sins away.

God promises to forgive me if I repent. God says, “I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and to give you a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). God promises to always be with me (Matthew 28:10).

God knows what is in store for us. He has told us that there will be hard times, but he has also promised that He will always be there for us.

His Encouragement: Biblical Inspiration for your Thursday

Good Morning, Friends! Welcome to this first edition of His Encouragement. My blogging friend Nicole Santana of Christian Fiction Girl and I decided we wanted to start a weekly blog post that offers Biblical encouragement. Every Thursday, Nicole and I will each bring you a new Bible verse and a little discussion of hope and encouragement. We welcome you to join the conversation by adding your daily verse of encouragement as well.

Nicole and I decided on calling this post “His Encouragement” because our real source of peace, strength, and security can only come from Jesus Christ. He alone is our constant! We pray that these Thursday posts become an encouragement to you and help you end your week strong in God’s love and purpose for you. God bless!

Today’s Thursday Encouragement:

“You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!”

– Psalms 139:16-17

What value he places on each of us! God knew us before we were born. He knew every day of our lives before our lives ever began. We don’t know the future, but what a precious promise to know that God does! As we begin to look at the love we hold for our own children, we can begin to understand how precious we are to God.

As you go through your day today, remember that God created you for a purpose, He thinks about you continually. Take comfort in that knowledge and do not worry, you are safe in His hands.
